High school students from various regions of North Carolina gathered at the NC State College of Education this summer for an enriching experience at the Leadership Institute for Future Teachers (LIFT). This six-day program is designed specifically for students passionate about pursuing careers in education.
Participants engaged in a range of activities aimed at enhancing their understanding of the teaching profession. Through workshops, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities with experienced educators, these aspiring teachers explored the challenges and rewards of a career in education. The program emphasized the importance of leadership skills, innovative teaching methods, and the impact educators have on their communities.
By fostering a supportive environment, LIFT encouraged students to envision a future in teaching, equipping them with the tools and inspiration needed to succeed.
