The CTE investment, he noted, prepares students for high-demand jobs in fields like manufacturing and healthcare, helping them build careers close to home. The lawmaker called the budget a win for every family in the Upper Peninsula, saying it puts students first while respecting taxpayer dollars. The new funding takes effect at the start of the next school year.
