As Thanksgiving approaches, the Division of Wildlife Resources is getting the Hardware Wildlife Education Center ready for its yearly Turkey Tales exhibit. Visitors will have the chance to learn about wild turkeys that live in Cache Valley and across Utah.

Center Director Marni Lee and her staff spend many hours preparing displays and activities for the event. The exhibit is designed to help people understand how wild turkeys live, what they eat, and how they survive in different habitats. It also offers a close look at the birds that many people only see from a distance.

The Turkey Tales exhibit has become a seasonal tradition for families in the area. It combines education with hands-on experiences, giving children and adults alike a better appreciation for wildlife. Staff members are working on interactive elements that will keep visitors engaged while they learn.

The center expects steady crowds throughout November as the holiday draws near. Those who plan to attend can look forward to a welcoming space filled with information about one of Utah's most recognizable birds. The exhibit aims to connect people with nature and encourage interest in the state's wildlife resources.
